Mr Mmbulaheni Kirsten Nematandani

 
Mr. Nematandani is a seasoned Football and Sports Administrator and Educator. With over twenty-five years of active involvement in the field, his rich experience has led him to serve on both CAF and FIFA Standing Committees as well as steering the affairs of South African football as the President of the country's Football Association (SAFA) from 2009 to 2013. Between 2010 and 2014, he was the Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee responsible for winding down the World Cup activities.
Other leadership roles Mr. Nematandani has played include; Special Advisor to the UN AIDS Programme, Director of Sports and Recreation at the University of Venda, Chairman of Hosmed Medical Aid (2002 -2005) and South African Students' Sports Union (2002 – 2007) respectively. His passion for people and their development resulted in his championing the SAFA Technical Masterplan, popularly known as Vision 2022. Mr. Nematandani holds a Post-Graduate Degree in Education and Sports Management from the University of the North and University of Johannesburg.
